Welcome to Take a Bow Productions & Creative Advancement — where young dreamers discover the power of performance, imagination, and self-expression. Through acting, music, and movement, we nurture confidence, creativity, and community in every child. Our programs blend artistic excellence with mindful exploration, giving students a safe space to shine, grow, and take their well-deserved bow—on stage and in life.

FOUNDER
Erline Dorcy is a passionate performer, educator (Drama Teacher, Morgan Park Academy), and advocate for the arts with a diverse background in theater, dance, and vocal performance. She has performed internationally, bringing beloved characters to life as Rafiki in The Lion King (Disneyland Paris) and Lead Blues Singer in Big Band Beat (Tokyo Disneyland). Her regional credits include Armelia in Ain’t Misbehavin’, Lorrell in Dreamgirls—for which she was nominated by the Black Theater Alliance for Best Supporting Actress—Nancy in Oliver, and a Dynamite/understudy for Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray at the Beverly Arts Center. She also served as the understudy for Patti LaBelle in the Jeff Award–nominated That’s What Friends Are For at Black Ensemble Theater. Erline has performed as a lead vocalist with Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Lines, captivating audiences worldwide. As the founder of Take a Bow Productions, a children’s theater program, she combines theater education with therapeutic approaches to empower all children through creative expression.“The stage is a mirror of possibility, showing us not only who we are, but who we have the power to become.”
